A little about us..
Our Paint Your Own Pottery studio brings an ancient craft into today’s modern world. The uniqueness of our business is readily apparent the moment you walk into the studio. We provide an opportunity to individuals to create a finished piece of useful art that is completely their own one of kind item. We have such a privilege to share this artistic endeavor with them, to provide as much or as little guidance as they wish or need. Our customer base is mostly local, within a 25-mile range. Which includes the young and old, those with special needs, scout troops, schools and organizations. We most proudly serve families that understand the value of a shared family experience and often return year after year to form a tradition. By hosting groups like birthdays, baby showers, a girls night out and bachelorette parties we share in the magical experience of friends creating together, each at their own pace and skill set.
About the Founder
My desire is to help others experience the thrill of artistic expression, that I feel as an artist is what inspired me to open Glazed and Confused. Prior to that, I sold my work but when I read about a Paint Your Own Pottery Studio opening in California, I thought; why do they get to have all the fun? Let’s open one in St. Louis! The greatest achievement I have seen with Glazed & Confused is creating the memories we have over the last 16 years. Seeing our little customers become staff, and then within a blink of an eye moving on in life, only to return with their own families is heartwarming. I love maintaining relationships with local organizations, schools, churches, business and most importantly, families!
